Insights from Oracle AI World 2026 in Las Vegas
Day 1
Just wrapping Day 1 at Oracle AI World as a partner — the standout for me is the self-configuration of ERP implementations.
AI agents that can take business requirements and drive compliant, Fit-to-Standard configurations are a genuine shift. They cut implementation effort and improve consistency, but they also change the partner role.
Partners are more essential today than ever as the model moves away from traditional SI execution toward becoming a true transformation leader. That means owning change management, technical design decisions, and overall project governance — while AI handles more of the configuration work. Watch the full announcement in the video.
Broader themes that stood out:
- Moving from copilots to agentic outcomes with Fusion Agentic Applications and governed runtimes like Fusion Claw
- Trust as the real bottleneck — security, policies, and deep data grounding across the stack
- Partners as critical to scaling this, backed by significant ecosystem investment
- Practical tools (AI Agent Studio, hands-on labs) so we can build and extend rather than just watch demos
The through-line: AI is abundant; trusted, outcome-driven AI inside the systems that run the business is what creates real value. The partners who lead the transformation — not just the configuration — will define.
