Chromium Browser Replaced with Microsoft Edge Browser in Policy Modeling:

The Chromium browser that has previously been included as a static component in each Policy Modeling release has been replaced with the Microsoft Edge browser which is functionally equivalent.

The Edge browser has the advantage that it is evergreen and receives automatic Microsoft updates to stay on the latest and most secure platform.

Tips And Considerations The actual version of Microsoft Edge used by Policy Modeling is determined by the user's Windows Update service. Like with Chromium, the Edge version is displayed in the Policy Modeling diagnostics so that it can be used to diagnose issues.

Record Reference Support for If and Default Functions in Web-Authored Rules

The If() and Default() functions in web-authored rules can now accept (and return) record references.

This makes these functions useful when using value list.

Tips And Considerations The types of the arguments used in the rule function must match. For instance, if the first parameter is a reference to a record list, the second parameter must be a reference to the same record
