Executive Summary

With over 20+ years of experience in IT I have taken on a range of IT roles from technical implementations, project delivery, advisement, and sales. I have a strong technical focus which has provided me the ability to understand, manage and deliver projects whilst being able to communicate at all business levels. I have worked in both the private and public sectors across a broad range of business areas and have a background in HR and Financial data integration and analytics

Ash was engaged by Polyplas to investigate and recommend an order management/CRM platform for our business, which supplies fixings and insulated products for industrial cool-rooms (e.g. Coles, Aldi) and Antarctic base camp housing.

During his time working with us Ash spent the time understanding how we work to make an educated unbiased decision. Being a medium sized business with a relatively small employee base and low-level understanding of I.T solutions. Ash investigated what options would work both from a cost perspective and ease of use for our employees and explained perfectly in laymen’s terms (to people with little I.T experience) which product the business would most benefit from without excessive cost or administrative overhead.

Ash was incredibly thorough and completely down to earth and honest with his opinions and recommendations which in an industry such as ours is required.

This role required the technical management of multiple facets of work for the management of near real-time data from Oracle ERP, POS systems and Operational data for the recycling company Containers or Exchange. OIC was employed to draw data over from the transactional data warehouse to use in analytic warehouse.

Managed the Business Intelligence arm of Oracle Consulting for all Business Intelligence and Big Data solutions for the APAC region. Delivery manager for Westpac Life Insurance, architect for Qantas, ANZ bank and pre-sales for Dept of Education.

Managed both on-shore and off-shore delivery teams for many projects and ran training and information sessions for clients and in-house staff.
